The 154th Street Sidewalk Project will address a gap in the City's Sidewalk Network, constructing sidewalk and appropriate ramps along the south side of 154th St. SE between 179th AVE SE and 182nd AVE SE. This project will include approximately 950 linear feet of sidewalk, updated stormwater infiltration galleries with storm filtering catch basins, curb and gutter, compliant ADA curb ramps, updated driveway entrances, shoulder paving, and property restoration.
The City applied for and received an FHWA Federal Grant from the Puget Sound Regional Council in December of 2024. The total grant amount for the project is $607,500 and will be used for the Preliminary Engineering and Construction. The project is set to complete Design by the summer of 2026. The project will be constructed during the summer of 2028. Below is a site map and early design concept for the project.
