Fingerprinting

The Monroe Police Department provides fingerprinting services for those residing inside the city limits of Monroe only and for the purposes of job application requirements, state requirements for foster care and adoptive parents, firearms dealer and concealed pistol license applications. 

Address verification

When we resume fingerprinting services once our lobby reopens, we ask that you verify that you live within Monroe, WA city limits. To check, visit Snohomish County’s “Law Enforcement Jurisdiction Look Up” Map. If you confirm your residence within our city limits, we are happy to assist you.

Appointment availability

Once we resume fingerprinting services, appointments will be available Tuesday and Thursdays, between 3 and 4 p.m. Appointments last about 15 minutes. The last appointment will be scheduled for 3:45 p.m.

Accepted Photo Identification

You will need to bring current, government-issued photo identification, which may include:  

  • Passport 
  • Washington State Driver's License or Identification Card 
  • Equivalent Out-of-State Identification 
  • Law Enforcement Identification 
  • Military Identification

Fees

Fingerprinting fees are established by the City’s Fee Resolution. The current fee is $10.
