The primary purpose of the Legislative Affairs Committee is to review and advise upon legislative matters at county, state, and federal levels of interest to the City Council; City Council policies and procedures; and Council compensation.
Second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, and October; 6:00 pm. Meetings are being held in hybrid format. In person at Monroe City Hall located at 806 W Main Street as well as virtual via Zoom meeting platform. See below for details.

Pursuant to Council Rules of Procedure and the 2022 Open Public Meetings Act update, the Monroe City Council meeting will be held in a hybrid format. Councilmembers, staff and members of the public may participate in Monroe City Council meetings both in-person and remotely.
