[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE - Intent to declare city utility property surplus

NOTICE is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at approximately 7:00 p.m., by the City of Monroe City Council in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 806 West Main Street, Monroe, Washington.

DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony concerning the City’s Council’s intent to declare as surplus to the City’s needs and not required for continued public utility service certain real property located at southwest corner of the intersection of Ingraham Road and 134th Street and commonly known as the Ingraham Well Site. The City Council may take action following the public hearing, including but not limited to passage of a resolution declaring the property surplus and authorizing the City’s execution of a letter of intent to sell the property.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Any interested person(s) may provide public testimony regarding this issue at the public hearing. Written comments must be received in original form prior to the public hearing. The draft resolution declaring the property surplus is available for review at City Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
