NOTICE is hereby given that a DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE (DNS) SEPA2012-02 has been made by the City of Monroe SEPA Responsible Official for ZCA2012-03 – Side Yard Setbacks in Mixed Use-Neighborhood Center Zoning District.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this code revision is to promote flexibility for expansion and rebuilding of single family residences in the Mixed Use Neighborhood Center zoning district. The proposed code amendment changes minimum side yard setbacks for single family homes from 10’ to 5’ and also gives greater flexibility for rebuilding residences that are destroyed.

APPEAL PROCEDURES:
Appeals to the SEPA determination must be submitted to the City Clerk on forms available at City Hall, 806 West Main Street, Monroe by 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2012. Faxed, mailed, or e-mailed appeals will not be accepted. Appeals must be accompanied by a filing fee set in the Fees Resolution in place at the time the appeal is filed. The SEPA documents are available for review at City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For further information, contact the city at (360) 863-4544.
