Ready for an eggcellent adventure and fun for everyone? The City of Monroe’s free Community Egg Hunt is Saturday, March 30 at Lake Tye Park. Pre-event activities sponsored by local organizations and businesses begin at 9:00am, and the hunt begins at 10:00am. Ages 10 and under are welcome to hunt. The fields are organized by age group and will have staggered start times to allow transitions between fields.
The hunt includes a field that is available for kids with cognitive and/or physical disabilities that may need adult help. Orange ‘Field E’ will hunt roughly at 10:20am and is located on the Southeast corner of the synthetic turf complex. The city thanks our community partners in making the Community Egg Hunt even more accessible and fun for children of all abilities.
We’d like to thank our donors and sponsors for their continued support of the event; Big Dog’s, Edward Jones, Fred Meyer, Galaxy Theatre, John L. Scott, Jones Family Orthodontics, Monroe Police Officers Association, Park Place Community Church, Republic Services, Rotary Club of Monroe, VFW Post 7511, and Walmart. This event would not be possible without the support of all our community partners.
