Mayor Geoffrey Thomas and Economic Development Specialist James Palmer will be hosting a virtual Town Hall meeting to discuss renewed federal relief programs for small businesses and the phased re-opening of the state’s economy. The Town Hall will provide an overview of the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loan program renewed by federal legislation, and Governor Jay Inslee’s four-phase "Safe Start" plan to re-open Washington’s economy.
This Town Hall meeting will be held remotely. The City encourages the public to participate by attending the virtual meeting presentation, and to submit any questions to James Palmer in advance at JPalmer@MonroeWA.gov.
