Mayor Geoffrey Thomas and Economic Development Specialist James Palmer will be hosting a virtual Town Hall meeting to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on Monroe’s Business Community and the efforts to provide relief to those businesses. The Town Hall will provide an overview of various assistance programs in the form of loans, grants, forgiveness programs and others from Federal, State and local agencies to aid businesses; this will be followed by a question and answer period.
This Town Hall meeting will be held remotely. The City encourages the public to participate by attending the virtual meeting presentation, and to submit any questions you may have about any of the financial assistance programs to James Palmer in advance at jpalmer@monroewa.gov. Questions submitted in advance will be answered first, then questions will be taken and answered live during the remaining time.
