NOTICE OF LAND USE APPLICATION
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Monroe has received an application for the following project. You are invited to comment on this proposed project.
Project Name & File: Preliminary Plat of Bear Mountain Estates (PL2012-02)

Project Location: The project is located north of US 2, east of Roosevelt Road, and west of the intersection of Bear Mountain Road and Phillips Ridge Road, Monroe WA.
Project Description:
The proposal is for the development of approximately 21 acres into up to 73 single family residential lots. The proposed development includes clearing and grading the site, installation of all utilities and construction of roadways.
Permits:
Preliminary Subdivision and Planned Residential Development permits are contained in the current application. A grading permit may also be required.
Required Studies:
Wetland & Stream Evaluation, Traffic Impact Analysis, Geological Hazard and Geotechnical Engineering Report, Technical Information (Drainage) Report. These documents are available for review Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Monroe City Hall, 806 W Main St., Monroe WA.
Public Comment Procedure:
Written comments must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 and can be submitted to Paul Popelka at ppopelka@monroewa.gov or at 806 W Main St., Monroe WA 98272.
Proposed Public Hearing Date:
A public hearing before the City of Monroe Hearing Examiner has been tentatively scheduled for January 18, 2013 at Monroe City Hall, 806 W Main St., Monroe WA.
