Governor Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all Washington State agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Thursday, January 5, 2012, in memory of U. S. Army Specialist Mikayla A. Bragg, 21, of Longview, who died in the line of duty December 21 in Afghanistan.
Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Thursday, or first thing Friday morning, January 6.
Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
