[ARCHIVED] Vehicle Crashes into Dollar Tree

MONROE –June 20, 2015 at 10:52 am: Officers responded to a vehicle that had crashed into the Dollar Tree Store in the shopping center in the 19900 block of SR 2 in Monroe. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle that had gone through the front door of the store. A grandmother and two grandchildren were entering the store at the time of the collision. The 61-year-old grandmother of Snohomish and 10-year-old grandson were transported to EvergreenHealth of Monroe with minor injuries. The 11-year-old granddaughter received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 61-year-old female from Monroe was attempting to park in front of the store and continued onto the sidewalk crashing through the front doors. The driver was complaining of medical issues that were occurring at the time of the collision and was transported to EvergreenHealth of Monroe.
