This project will replace the existing parking lane and sidewalk with pervious material. The design is scheduled to be completed this winter with construction scheduled for the spring of 2015 and be substantially complete by June 30, 2015.
By separating the combined sewer system, the city will save sewer treatment costs and bring us closer to compliance with State requirements to separate the stormwater from the sanitary sewer. This project will directly impact the following areas:
Main Street from Lewis to Ferry,
Lewis Street from 300’ south of Fremont to the alley north of Main.
We have completed our 60% drawings which show the layout for the project. We are inviting the public to attend a project open house Thursday, December 11, 2014 between 5 PM to 9 PM in the basement of the Masonic Lodge at 125 S. Lewis.
