MONROE, WA – The Monroe Transportation Benefit District Board is currently seeking volunteers to be appointed to Ballot Measure Argument (Pro/Con) Committees, for the proposed ballot proposition for the August 5, 2014, primary election.

The ballot proposition would authorize the imposition of a sales and use tax in the amount of two-tenths of one percent (0.2 %) within the boundaries of the district, for a period of ten years, in order to fund or finance transportation improvements.
