Request for Information Bulletin: The Monroe Police Department is investigating a recent case alleging sexual misconduct between a Monroe High School teacher and a student. Our investigation has revealed at least one previous similar incident having been alleged. We are purposefully withholding the name of the accused teacher at this time.

 

Detectives are seeking information from anyone, including current and former students, regarding any instances of improper communication or conduct between a teacher and students at Monroe High School. If you have any information please contact Detective Erdmann at (360) 863-4565, by emailing police@monroewa.gov, or you can submit tips anonymously to the Monroe Police Department tip line at (360) 863-4600.

 

We have been working cooperatively with the Monroe School District regarding this issue. The District's cooperation has been vital in helping us thoroughly investigate this matter.
