Flag Lowering for February 15th

Governor Inslee has issued a flag lowering in memory of Mary Valentine, Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Scientific Technician. 
 
Directive:
"I am deeply saddened by the death of Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Scientific Technician, Mary Valentine, and direct that Washington State and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff in her memory on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Mary Valentine died in the line of duty on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on Thursday, February 15, 2024."
