Looking for some free family fun? Join the City of Monroe and the Snohomish Conservation District for Lake Tye’s first ever Science Day. Saturday, July 29th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Take part in science demonstrations, hands-on activities, and games about the many ways we can protect our streams, lakes, and salmon. Activity stations will include:
- Water quality testing
- Enviroscape demonstrations
- Salmon Art Gallery
- Build your own rain garden
People of all ages are invited to attend, but the event will be most exciting to families with children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Guardians must be present with children for the entirety of the event. Snacks will be provided to refuel between stations.
