May 16th from 12-4pm, the Monroe Covid Campaign which is made up of a group of Monroe high school seniors will be running a Flash Food Drive to support the Sky Valley Food Bank. Drop off locations will include Lake Tye Park, South of the tennis courts and Galaxy Theatres.
Items needed include:
• Cereal or oatmeal
• Chips or crackers
• Diapers and baby wipes
• Disposable gloves
• Easy-open cans of soup, stew, and chili
• Fruit or veggie cups
• Granola or breakfast bars
• Hands sanitizer
• Juice boxes or pouches
• Lysol sanitizing wipes
• Nuts or trail mix
• Peanut butter and jelly
• Raisins or other dried fruit
• Ready-to-eat entrees
• Shelf-stable milk
• Shelf-stable cheese or yogurt
• Toilet paper and paper towels
• Tuna or chicken kits
Monetary donations are also welcome and much appreciated.
