NOTICE is hereby given that the PUBLIC HEARING for the Unified Development Regulations (UDR) has been RESCHEDULED to Monday, February 25, 2019 at approximately 7:00 P.M. by the City of Monroe Planning Commission in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 806 West Main Street, Monroe, Washington.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City is in the process of drafting a new Unified Development Code to take the place of the existing development regulations in the Monroe Municipal Code, which are located in Titles 17 through 21. The current development regulations will be repealed and then replaced with one all-inclusive title known as the Unified Development Regulations (UDR). In addition to reflecting the goals and policies adopted in the City’s 2015 – 2035 Comprehensive Plan, the proposed unified development code intends to simplify and streamline Monroe’s development process.
COMMENT AND APPEAL PROCEDURE FOR PUBLIC HEARING:
Any interested person(s) may provide public testimony regarding the proposed code amendments at the public hearing. Written comments must be received in original form prior to the public hearing. The Planning Commission may take action at this hearing or may continue action on this application until a future date.
