The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour plans a return to Monroe, Washington June 29-30, 2012 after a tremendously successful inaugural stop in 2011. On July 8th and 9th 2011, over 8,000 people came out to Lake Tye Park to enjoy the King of Wake MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour stop – the first tour stop in the Pacific Northwest in over 15 years. Vendor booths included both local and regional businesses representing land, water and aerial outdoor recreation suppliers and activities, as well as food and music. Businesses in the surrounding area reported high activity in part due to the event and area hotels were booked solid that weekend. The event was televised and aired on the Versus NBC sports channel.
