[ARCHIVED] Lake Tye Water Quality

Lake Tye compressed.jpg

We have heard there has been some concerns with the water quality with Lake Tye. Lake Tye is monitored and tested monthly by the City of Monroe for dissolved oxygen and fecal coliform organism levels. Test results are within the allowed State of Washington standards. We have received a report of Swimmer's Itch from Lake Tye and have contacted the Snohomish Health District and Snohomish County Lakes Division per our standard policy when receiving a report from the public. The City of Monroe will follow up with any further testing and/or signage as directed by the Snohomish Health Department and Snohomish Lakes Division. If you have any further questions in regards to the water quality of the lake, please contact our Stormwater Coordinator, Vince Bertrand at 360-863-4552. Thank you for your help in keeping Monroe beautiful!
