MONROE – June 8, 2015 at 3:29 pm: Officers responded to a 911 call of a possible home invasion robbery in the 100 block of Dickinson Street, Monroe. The victim, a 41 year old resident of Monroe had come home to discover two males in her garage. As she got out of her vehicle, the males confronted her with a knife and ordered her to drive them to Lake Stevens. She was held at knife point as she drove, one of the males said she would be okay as long as she drove normal and carefully. The suspects went through her purse and stole money and credit cards. The males directed her to drop them off in the parking lot of Target in Lake Stevens where they exited the vehicle and ran. The incident occurred between 12:00 and 12:30; she contacted her family first who directed her to a safe family residence in Everett before notifying the police.
The suspects are described as two white males wearing a brown sweatshirt with hoodie, blue jeans, 6’3”, thin build, dark short hair, beard and mustache. The second suspect was wearing brown “Dickie” pants, gray sweatshirt with unknown logo, shorter than the other suspect with a heavier build. A possible vehicle of interest was seen in the area in Lake Stevens described as a late model red Dodge Neon.
