The City of Monroe has solicited proposals for a consultant to conduct a community needs assessment, gap analysis and facilitated program development for the City of Monroe and the Skykomish Valley (Sky Valley), including the cities of Snohomish, Sultan, Gold Bar, and unincorporated Snohomish County. The assessment will be used to inform Mayor Thomas, the Monroe City Council, and community stakeholders of the human service needs in the Sky Valley area. This needs assessment will aid elected officials, service providers, and subject matter experts in gathering accurate data to support residents seeking housing and human services in our community.
The City of Monroe has contracted with Kulik Strategic Advisors to work collaboratively with and facilitate local service providers to identify current human service priorities and funding sources, develop a preliminary budget to implement recommendations to meet priority needs, and indicate metrics to measure success.
