Air Field Water Main Upgrade Project

Project Description

The City is developing plans to increase the size of the water main adjacent to First Air Field (Monroe airport). The objective is to increase water supply to the Foothills area during peak demand or emergencies. Design will occur during 2017 with actual construction commencing in the spring of 2018.

Project Updates

1/28/18 - Project design documents are complete. Staff are seeking permits with Snohomish County as this work will occur outside the city limits.

8/2/17 - Engineering staff are working on the design. This phase of the project will continue through the remainder of 2017.

5/1/17 - The topographic survey and critical areas survey are complete. Engineering staff are reviewing the site constraints and will work with our consultants to optimize the proposed water layout.

2/3/17 - A topographic survey of the project area is underway. This will provide background information to design with.
